Design and preparation for printing, in essence, hasn’t changed over the years. It still requires an understanding of the processes involved. The processes have changed beyond belief with our friend ‘digital’ kicking out age-old practices, thereby short-cutting the route from artwork to printing press. Prices are falling, print runs can be much shorter and large format printing has become an art in itself.
